Custom Brand Identity for Wedding Planner

Samara is the lead wedding planner at Just as Planned, and she now has a custom brand identity that fully represents her business. Just as Planned coordinates weddings and events that are detail-oriented and memorable. Samara came to MKDS knowing she was ready to change her company’s name but looking for help to redefine her brand identity design as well.

What is your favorite part of your new branding?

My favorite part is the amount of logos I am walking away with. I can’t believe how much I get to work with. I also really love and appreciate both the business card design and Canva templates!

Why did you choose to work with MKDS?

I really liked Mary’s overall approach. She complimented my style really well. I loved how welcoming and understanding she was. I felt like she kept in mind that I am a small business which allowed me to end up with a price I am comfortable with.

How did you feel before working on this project together?

Overwhelmed. I had no idea where I wanted to go with things, I only knew my new name but had no idea what my logo and feel would be.

What advice would you offer to someone who is on the fence about investing in custom branding? How do you think this update will impact your business?

Look at their work. See who they follow and who their following is. Look and see if they have experience working in your industry. See the relationship you will have with them – will it be a large company or more of a 1:1 relationship?

How would you sum up your experience with MKDS?

Working with Mary was great. We went through numerous revisions, and she always took the time to make things right. She was patient and creative and genuinely wanted me to end up with something I loved. Looking back on everything I couldn’t imagine someone else helping me go through this rebrand process!
