MK Design Studio had the pleasure of working with Catholic photographer Colette of Colette M Photography to design a custom brand and Showit website. Colette is a wedding photographer based in Indianapolis but serves couples in the Midwest and beyond. She came to MKDS first for a brand refresh and then returned a year later for us to redesign her website. Through her lens, Colette timelessly captures the elegance and romance on her clients’ special day. Now her brand and website reflect the elevated experience she delivers.

What is your favorite part of your new website?
The professional yet personal feel! I wanted something romantic and timeless but still had dashes of my personality to it.
Why did you choose to work with MKDS?
We first connected on having similar lifestyles, both busy moms and business owners! Because my faith is a big part of my business, I wanted to find a designer who shared similar beliefs. When I connected with Mary, I knew she would understand and help me integrate my faith through the branding and design of my website. From a visual perspective, I love how each of her designs was so unique and personal to each of her clients. No two looked the same. In an oversaturated market of photographers, she made me stand out, and will help you do the same!
How did you feel before working on this project together?
Overwhelmed and felt like my vision could never come together when I tried to do it myself.

What advice would you offer to someone who is on the fence about investing in custom branding and website design? How do you think this update will impact your business?
If you are serious about looking professional and established from the beginning, you will never regret investing in a custom site! I get compliments all of the time, all thanks to Mary!
