Some things are definitely worth waiting for. And in this case, I’m talking about designing the new Showit website for Katelyn Anne Photography! Katelyn and I talked in the fall about collaborating on her website but my client work schedule was full until early Spring. But she happily agreed to book her project and wait until Spring!
So once February rolled around, I finally got to start planning and designing. Katelyn has been photographing weddings for 7 years so she’s no newbie. I knew her design needed to really showcase her years of experience.
She was a Squarespace user for years but the platform was holding her back – especially with her mobile site. I knew Showit would be a great fit for Katelyn’s new online home because her mobile design was one of her top priorities!
Now, because Katelyn has been in the biz so long she had a lot of blogs on her website. Like over 300… that’s amazing! She’s seriously killing the blog game! But lots of blog posts means lots of photos and we ran into some issues with the blog migration which unfortunately delayed our launch celebrations a couple days. But in the end, Showit’s amazing support team pulled through and we launched her beautiful new website. Note to self: always leave a couple weeks to migrate blogs when you have this many blog posts!
