Beth and I connected through Instagram – shoutout to the HUGE community of #creativepreneurs on the ‘gram. She was truly a dream to work with. Beth was already using Showit for her website but was ready to invest in a professional to push her website to the next level. I love how professional, clean, simple and just 100% me it is!
What was your favorite part of the brand + website design process and working with MKDS?
Mary feels like an old friend. Just knowing in my heart that one day our paths will cross and I will get to hug this girl in person makes me so happy because she seriously feels like my SOUL SISTER! This is a perfect example of the power of instagram. What started out as finding someone to help me, turned into a life-long friendship and someone’s creative mind I trust, and I know that she will always do the best for EHP!
Did we successfully accomplish your goals for the project?
Absolutely! I tell EVERYONE about Mary! She’s talented, real, creative and wants to make sure each project is unique!!
How do you think this updated look will impact your business?
I think that it drastically improves my first impression for people and for helps them to take me seriously! I want my business to thrive and that starts with a great website!
What advice would you offer someone who is on the fence about investing in custom website design?
LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO INVEST. My parents always told me growing up that things worth having in life, we work for and they don’t come for free. Your dreams are no different. When you ask a small business owner who is using their God given talents to serve you, you are doing more than just giving them business – you are giving them purpose! They wake up excited to serve you because you are excited to see them be creative. Investing in a custom website shows who YOU truly are and doesn’t let you compare yourself to others. You are in the driver seat of that first impression people will have about who you are. A custom website was a game-changer for me.
How would you sum up your experience with MKDS?
Mary is incredible at what she does. She is thoughtful and smart and just overall knows her craft. I love how she loves feedback, because she takes my ideas and runs with them. She wants you to be you and she wants you to be comfortable with what you are designing together. I loved working with her and kept joked I would need to keep coming up with projects so we could just keep hanging out with each other!
