Jacqueline & Laura Sprinkle are twin sisters and wedding photographers based in Greenville, South Carolina. They offer a classy and enthusiastic wedding experience to southern couples and destination weddings. Jacqueline and Laura first came to MK Design Studio for a Branding VIP Day, so we designed their branding. Then, they returned for us to design their hidden investment guide page on their website. They came back a third time for our biggest project yet! We recently had the joy of creating a full custom website design to perfectly display their photography business.
Every chance MKDS has had to work with Jacqueline and Laura has been so much fun! When we first created their brand, we made sure it was timeless and wouldn’t go out of style quickly. All we did to update the brand when they came back for their custom website design was add a new color palette (just because!). We then created their custom website with gorgeous blues (their favorite) and stunning details. Their elevated look is a complete representation of the phenomenal wedding photography experience that everyone raves about.

What is your favorite part of your new website?
Oooo this is going to be a hard one! First of all, it just “feels” like us!! The pops of color with fun, bold texts while still keeping everything else classy and simple represents our brand and who we are as people so perfectly! The layout of the home page and the way it flows from one section to the next while also prompting clients to other parts of the site is something I always tried to create on our old website but never loved how it looked….this design is perfect! We also LOVE how many photos are incorporated. This was something I know we had mentioned we would love to have, and you did an incredible job getting allllll the photos displayed. The galleries that flip through multiple different “moments” from wedding days are our favorite! A couple of other elements we love — the navigation! It is so unique and very eye-catching. Also, the blog layout (both the main blog page and individual post page!) is a favorite feature for sure!
Why did you choose to work with MKDS?
Because you are SO talented at what you do!! We are so appreciative that you take into consideration all our ideas and brainstorms. However, you also got to know us and our brand so well that you really created something that represented who we are better than we ever could. And we knew that would be the case just from working with you in the past!!
What was your favorite part of the branding design process and working with MKDS?
We loved your willingness to hear our ideas, understand our brand, and then work with us and make changes to create something we loved! You took any feedback we gave and ran with it and brought our vision to life!
What advice would you offer someone who is on the fence about investing in a custom website design? How do you think this update will impact your business?
It took us a long time to finally invest in a website. However, if you feel like you know who you are trying to attract and what your brand looks like, having a website that reflects this is the best thing you could invest in. I don’t think it would have been smart for us to have a website created in earlier years, but at this point in our business, it was just what we needed to take our brand to the next level! We are excited to see all the clients our new website will bring our way and I truly feel like it is going to generate couples who are very in tune with not only our brand and the experience we offer, but who we are as people since it is so clearly displayed throughout the site!
We had someone tell us a few days ago that our “website is amazing and people must fall in love with you two the second they visit it” which was so exciting to hear because she is also in the wedding industry!
How would you sum up your experience with MKDS?
The entire experience was so seamless and every part of the process flowed from one part to the next. It was fun and exciting, and we loved being on the client side of things! Every time we received an email from you with new updates, we couldn’t click on it fast enough HA! We felt informed and involved during the process while also being able to sit back and let you take the lead on all the major design decisions which was very refreshing.
