What is your favorite part of your new website?
I love the whole layout, my new brand, and the colors.
Why did you choose to work with MKDS?
I knew Mary would listen to my requests. She also gauged how I was as a person, took that into account, and made my brand and website look like me without me saying specific things.
How did you feel before working on this project together?
I was discouraged by the website that I had created on my own. I was a little nervous because of the changeover process from Squarespace to Showit. Mary literally helped me every step of the way. The hardest part was the techy backend of switching over my Google accounts to a new website provider. Mary talked me through everything, and we got it all set up!
What advice would you offer someone on the fence about investing in custom branding and website design? How do you think this update will impact your business?
DO IT! Mary’s payment plan is generous and very helpful. She works so hard to perfect everything, just how you want it! She is willing to give her input and expertise but is also ready to be flexible based on your wants and needs.
Having a new, updated home base for people to find me has already been very helpful to my business. I get more inquiries through my website now in the few months it’s been live than I did my whole time (almost 5 years) with Squarespace!
How would you sum up your experience with MKDS?
Mary is kind, thoughtful, a great listener, and a hard worker. I’d work with Mary again in a heartbeat!
