MK Design Studio had the joy of working with Shaquanna Shockley to create custom branding for her fashion boutique and blog, A Home for Elegance. Mrs. Shockley strives to inspire others to live elegant lives by selling refined clothing items in her boutique and sharing her design finds on her blog.
Mrs. Shockley came to MKDS hoping to unify her brand by creating a polished look that radiates elegance and beauty. Our wonderful designer Jennifer knocked it out of the park with a brand image full of gorgeous details that are truly timeless. Mrs. Shockley of A Home for Elegance now has a new custom brand that speaks directly to the elegance and inspiration she offers.

What is your favorite part of your new branding?
Everything! Mary was so nice and accommodating to my requests and always answered my questions! I will miss chatting with her once this project is finished.
Why did you choose to work with MKDS?
I found MKDS on Instagram just searching for a graphic designer. I saw Mary’s profile and decided to look at her website. Once I saw her previous projects I knew that she would be the perfect person to help me rebrand my website and logo!
How did you feel before working on this project together?
I was really nervous, and I did not know what to expect. I knew nothing about re-branding, but I knew that I wanted a “brand” that belonged to me.
What advice would you offer to someone who is on the fence about investing in custom branding? How do you think this update will impact your business?
I would assure someone that rebranding could be one of the best things that you could do for your small business. Having your own logo, goodness there is just something so wonderful about having your own logo. I believe that this project will help me gain new sales, views, and honestly networking!
How would you sum up your experience with MKDS?
