What is your favorite part of your new branding?
I am so obsessed with my new business cards! The second I received them, they immediately felt and looked so elevated. Everyone who received one commented, “These are really nice business cards!” which feels so good as a business owner.
Why did you choose to work with MKDS?
I loved her work and after the first meeting, I just had a feeling that Mary and her team were the perfect match for me and bringing a fresh look to my small business. Her bubbly and soft energy made me feel comfortable to share my feedback. I could just tell my dream brand would come to fruition with MKDS.
How did you feel before working on this project together?
Excited! I knew after signing on with MKDS, that I was in good hands and my branding would finally reach the level it needed to move forward. I had talked to several brand designers prior and I left feeling so defeated, but after I hired Mary and her team, I was so ready for the project to start.

What advice would you offer someone on the fence about investing in custom branding? How do you think this update will impact your business?
Even though it’s a big investment and can be pretty scary since this business was my main source of income, I knew that the next step to growth was showing my business was “established” over being a “start-up” with a low budget. I’d been making my logos and branding before hiring MKDS. I was never happy with it and could tell it made my brand feel more “childish” instead of the elegant brand I wanted to portray.
The way it looks now, I can tell clients are more interested in learning more about my business, and I’m starting to get more traffic. I can’t wait for more sales, so I can start sharing all the branding materials I have to make my clients feel special.
How would you sum up your experience with MKDS?
Very professional, kind, and listens to your needs. I tried to be as clear as I could about what I was looking for and MKDS executed it so beautifully and in a very timely manner. Whenever I felt like just one thing was off, Mary answered it quickly and gave me multiple options to choose from (along with her opinion or thoughts). I can’t wait for more opportunities to hire Mary and her team when I need more items designed or perhaps a redesign of my website!
