Beth Compton of Tinlizzy Design Co. is a wedding invitation designer who came to MKDS looking for a custom website design. Beth brings her couples’ visions for their wedding invitations to life through her thoughtfully curated designs. Being a designer, Beth created her own gorgeous brand, but she enlisted our help to create a custom website that would elevate her stationery business.
Beth’s new site is whimsical with a soft color scheme. It perfectly portrays the thoughtful designs Beth offers her couples. MKDS created a website for Beth that is elevated, easy to navigate, and is now serving her business so that Beth can focus on her designs for her clients.

Why did you choose to work with MKDS for your project?
At Amy Sullin’s recommendation. After reviewing your work, I felt you could be a good fit to bring my vision to life. I liked seeing all the clean, upscale sites you have worked with from past clientele. I love that so much of your work is women-owned, small business entrepreneurs like ourselves.
How did you feel before working together?
It felt like updating my website and branding was too big. I am a very hands-on, DIY-oriented person, but I knew I couldn’t independently take my website to the level I was wanting it to be.
What’s your favorite part of your new website?
Love how my branding shines through and how warm and inviting it feels. I even had a sweet friend tell me she felt like she was getting a hug from me on every page she visited. From a functional standpoint, it definitely explains so much more about the process and what to expect. Excited to see it simplify the onboarding process!
What was your favorite part of the website design process and working with MKDS?
Mary was so communicative. She was so willing to work alongside me and take all the input and ideas I had together into a beautiful site. The timeline was so helpful, but she was so flexible when pieces were still in progress on my end.
Did we successfully accomplish your goals for the project?
Absolutely. So excited to have this business piece in play to attract new clients, display my work, and educate clients on the stationery process.

How do you think this updated look will impact your business?
The new website has already begun attracting new clients and is a great reflection of the work I do and the clientele I am aiming to work with. The inquiry form alone has been such a seamless transition to better incorporating systems I had in place but wasn’t fully utilizing.
What advice would you offer someone who is on the fence about investing in custom website design?
It is a key investment to level up your work. There’s an instant look of credibility and establishment when potential clients visit the website. The work I have garnered already since going live has almost completely paid off the financial investment.
How would you sum up your experience with MKDS? Would you recommend us to a friend?
Absolutely would recommend Mary and already have begun sharing the word! Couldn’t be happier with the site and the time that was put into it. She really took the vision I had and brought it to life. It’s the perfect touch of color and whimsy that reflects in so much of my work.
