I recently worked with Shelby of Shelby Mullins Photography to create her new brand + website template customization. Shelby chose the Chandler Showit template from my shop, which couldn’t have turned out more perfect for her website’s new look. Shelby is a wedding and senior photographer in Clinton, Mississippi. Her joy for her photography business is contagious. This made working with her an absolute treat!

What is your favorite part of your new website?
It just feels like me!! The main thing I was missing from my old website was that it didn’t feel personal to who I was. I feel like Mary perfectly understood what I wanted for my brand in a way that I couldn’t have done on my own!
Why did you choose to work with MKDS?
I had seen her work with other people I knew and thought she did a fantastic job for them!

Excited, but nervous that I was maybe taking this step too early in my business.

Likely!
What advice would you offer to someone who is on the fence about investing in custom branding and website design? How do you think this update will impact your business?
DO IT. It has been so worth it to me. I have already seen this impact my business in a major way. This time last year, I only had 6 weddings booked. This year, I have 17, and I’m genuinely so excited about each of them. I am consistently booking with ideal clients, and I honestly believe that so much of that has to do with my new brand. I think it’s helping people to trust me in a way that they weren’t able to before. It also just makes me feel more confident as a business owner in what I’m creating and sharing with clients! It was 100% worth the investment!
How would you sum up your experience with MKDS?
I think she was wonderful and really did a great job of understanding exactly what I wanted for my brand. I couldn’t even really put it into words, and she was still able to create the perfect brand for me!
