Before I discovered the world of graphic design and web design (back in my early high school years) I wanted to be an interior designer. I mean, doesn’t everyone kinda dream of being an interior designer? (Thanks, HGTV!) You can understand my excitement about working with Emily from Moda Designs! Moda hired MK Design Studio for a complete rebrand and new interior designer website design.
Emily is a Mississippi interior designer who works with homeowners locally and virtually, and she has the cutest home decor shop in New Albany, MS. After DIYing her branding and website for 10 years, Emily was ready to hire a professional to create a thoughtful and beautiful brand.

I interviewed Emily, Moda Designs owner and lead designer, right before launching her new interior design website, and here’s what she had to say:
How would you sum up your experience with MKDS?
Mary made it such an easy, fun experience. The end goal was accomplished by providing me with a professional, designer website and brand after ten long years of DIYing.
What’s your favorite part of your new branding?
I love that my logo reflects my style so much. Classy, but memorable! It’s the best. Exactly what I wanted.
What’s your favorite part of your new website?
Everything!!!! It’s beautiful and easy to navigate. It’s the best, and so professional.
What was your favorite part of the branding/website design process and working with MKDS?
How easy Mary was to work with! Even if I wanted to change things, she was easy to work with and always happy.
How do you think this updated look will impact your business?
I think I’ll be able to attract more high-end clients and maybe some magazine features.
What advice would you offer someone who is on the fence about investing in custom website design?
Do it! I’m so proud that it’s done after all of these years.
How did you feel about your branding and website before working with MKDS? How do you feel now?
I was never excited about my brand or website. It never reflected how serious of a designer I am and now it does.
